Guys and gals, I'm thrilled with my new guitar tag - I have been getting by with something less than what I wanted, until now! Michael Payne designed this tag, using my hands carving a set of Brace's. I printed this on parchment paper last night and I have to say, I love it! Michael also pointed me to a nice freeware program that lets me open and print this tag painlessly, called DFW Viewer.

Thanks Michael!

Lance did the Valdimir Script print crisp and clean? This pic seams to have the same issue we had when trying to view the file as jpg. i think it is just image compression issue on the pic and not on the printed output.

DWF viewer is an Autodesk freeware product that allow someone with out Autocad to view and print an Autocad file outputed to a "DWF" format.

Yeah, I thought of that after I posted the question.

Another "DUH" moment....I seem to have a lot of them lately.

Lance,
You say you printed on parchment paper? Is this a standard paper you use for your tags? Also, some printer ink fades over time, do you have a particular type of ink or printer you use?
Thanks,
Wade

Yes I like the look of parchment paper, Michael Payne suggested #8 rice paper, im going to check into that - I print it on a plain ol inkjet printer - Im looking into a color laser printer to do a batch of these ..

I can e-mail the DWF Viewer to you can down load it from autodesk.com. this does not create the drawing it only allows you to read and print a DWF file created from an autocad file. I did the art for Lance on autocad and sent him the viewer software and a DWF file of the art I drew in autocad.
